{{/presale}}Stovepipe Sterling was one of the first Silver Soldiers Collection statue designs offered, and now the trusted anti-tank fighter is one of the first to feature in the Silver Soldier Bullion Series of rounds from the Blockchain Mint. The designs offer new images of the well-known World War II-era figurines captured in the silver statue collection. Provident Metals now has 1 oz Silver Soldier Bullion Series Stovepipe Sterling Rounds available to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you buy 1 oz Silver Soldier Bullion Series Stovepipe Sterling Rounds from Provident Metals, the items you receive come in brand-new condition from the mint. Each one of the silver rounds has its own protective plastic flips, while multiples of 20 silver rounds ship inside of acrylic tubes. Each release comes with a new reverse design representing a different Silver Soldier and all items have a rough, weathered visual for distinctive appeal.
Obverse
An American star features with the series name on the obverse side of 1 oz Silver Soldier Bullion Series Stovepipe Sterling Rounds. This artwork will feature on all releases in the Soldier Bullion Series and depicts an American star at the center of the design element. From behind the star, rays of light emanate out toward the edges of the design field. Across the center of the star is the only inscription that reads Soldier Bullion.
Reverse
Sterling wields his powerful M1 Bazooka in the reverse design of Silver Soldier Bullion Series Stovepipe Sterling Rounds. The image depicts Sterling, his units anti-tank specialist, as he prepares to fire his M1 Bazooka at an enemy position. Though it was developed initially as an anti-tank weapon, soldiers in the field found the M1 effective for use in neutralizing machine gun nests and fortified enemy bunkers.
History
The M1 Bazooka is a shoulder-fired, man-portable rocket launcher that has a recoilless design. Use of the term bazooka has evolved over time to refer to any form of ground-to-ground, shoulder-fired missile weapons. The term bazooka itself came from the M1s visible resemblance to a musical instrument of the same name that was created and used by Bob Burns, a US comedian active in the 1930s. Several versions of the M1 were captured by German and Japanese forces during the war and reverse-engineered for native designs in those nations armed forces.
