{{/presale}}The precious metals industry has seen numerous brands and products come and go over the last two centuries. Long-running sovereign mints are among the largest producers of precious metals alongside private refineries and mints. One of the brand images revived in recent years was the Royal Mint Refinery. With its image on a new silver round, the Royal Mint Refinery is back. Right now, you can purchase 1 oz Silver Shield Rounds online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
With your purchase of 1 oz Silver Shield Rounds through this listing, you receive an all-new silver round from the Royal Mint Refinery. These Silver Shield Rounds are available to you in brand-new condition with individual rounds packaged inside of protective plastic flips while multiples are housed inside of mint tubes of 20 rounds.
Obverse
On the obverse side of the 1 oz Silver Shield Round is a depiction of the historic Royal Mint Refinery brand mark. This includes a circular logo with R.M.R in the center, while The Royal Mint Refinery is inscribed in an outer circle around that. The entire emblem is surrounded with decorative sun design and there is an inscription along the bottom rocker of the round that reads 1 Troy Ounce 999 Fine Silver.
Reverse
The reverse face of 1 oz Silver Shield Rounds includes the Royal Mint Refinery shield design. The shield is split vertically down the center with the Union Jack flag of the United Kingdom featured on the left and the Stars and Stripes of the United States on the right side. Above the shield, an American bald eagle is perched with its wings spread wide. The same decorative sun is featured in the background field on this side of the round.
History
In 2015, the Royal Mint Refinerys brand was revived after a 47-year absence from the bullion market. The brand marquee of the Royal Mint Refinery was born in 1852 when N.N Rothschild opened a bullion refinery in London after relocating from Paris. The company operated for more than a century by N.M. Rothschild and Sons, surviving two World Wars and delivering brilliant products as the bullion market evolved. Englands Royal Mint has now revived this icon of the industry.
