{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The roots of professional rodeo stem from the daily responsibilities of cowboys in the American West, where tasks like managing cattle, riding broncs, and practicing roping were essential ranch skills. Its earliest forms appeared in friendly matches among ranch hands during the late 1800s, with Deer Trail, Colorado, in 1869 frequently mentioned as the site of the first acknowledged rodeo. Today, professional rodeo operates as a multimillion-dollar industry that preserves Western culture and highlights athletes competing in bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and tie-down roping. Today, 1 oz Silver Reverse Proof Riley Webb Rounds are available from Provident Metals.
