Obverse
The obverse of the Silver NFL Philadelphia Eagles Round displays the teams well-known eagle-head emblem. First used in 1996, the design presents a stylized eagle head facing left. The sharp edges and focused expression convey the competitive drive and strong image of the Eagles organization. The inscriptions include PHILADELPHIA EAGLES and EST. 1933.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1 oz Silver Philadelphia Eagles Round, the official logo of the NFL appears. This shield includes the league initials in the center, with a football overhead. Above are two rows of four stars, each set representing the eight divisions across the AFC and NFC. The inscriptions read NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, EST. 1920, ONE TROY OUNCE, and .999 FINE SILVER.
History
Established in 1933, the Philadelphia Eagles have a long history in professional football. The franchise secured three league titles before the Super Bowl era in 1948, 1949, and 1960. In the years that followed, the team saw both highs and lows, building strong rosters in the 1980s and reaching multiple NFC Championship games in the early 2000s. Their greatest modern success came with a Super Bowl victory in 2018.
