Obverse
The obverse of the Silver NFL New England Patriots Round highlights the teams current logo. Known as the Flying Elvis, this emblem was unveiled in 1993. It portrays the side profile of a Revolutionary War-era minuteman wearing a tricorner hat, designed in blue and silver tones to reflect the teams identity. The inscriptions include NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS and EST. 1960.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 1 oz Silver NFL New England Patriots Round, the NFLs official shield logo is shown. This logo includes the NFL initials in the center, a football at the top, and two sets of four stars on either side that represent the AFC and NFC conferences. The inscriptions read NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, EST. 1920, ONE TROY OUNCE, and .999 FINE SILVER.
