Reverse
The reverse side of the 1 oz Silver Jacksonville Jaguars Round carries the official NFL shield. History
The Jacksonville Jaguars joined the league in 1995 as one of two new expansion teams, alongside the Carolina Panthers. Wayne Weaver, a local businessman, helped secure the franchise for Jacksonville after proving the citys ability to support a professional team. The Jaguars quickly found success under coach Tom Coughlin, reaching the playoffs in four of their first five seasons, with memorable AFC Championship appearances in 1996 and 1999.
