{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Across much of North America, developed areas can make it seem like nature has been pushed aside. Even so, the continent still holds enormous wild spaces where native animals continue to thrive. Scottsdale Mints Wild Series honors that enduring wilderness with colorized silver rounds that feature some of the most recognizable creatures of the region. Right now, 1 oz Silver Colorized The Wild Moose Rounds from Scottsdale Mint are available from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Each 1 oz Silver Colorized The Wild Moose Round arrives sealed inside an individual Certi-Lock card. The front of the card shows the mints name and the Wild Series label, while the round is locked into place behind a clear window. This packaging keeps the piece protected and makes the colorized obverse easy to view.
Obverse
The obverse design of the Silver Colorized The Wild Moose Round shows a moose standing beside a river in a quiet forest opening, with a distant mountain rising behind it. The scene captures the mooses strong build, long legs suited for deep snow, and the noticeable dewlap under its throat. The added color gives the forest and animal a more lifelike appearance. The inscription here includes MOOSE.
Reverse
On the reverse of 1 oz Silver Colorized The Wild Moose Rounds, youll find the standard Wild Series artwork. A white-tailed deer skull faces forward in sharp relief at the center. The surrounding inscriptions include the mint name, the series title, and the identifying silver hallmarks. Inscriptions here include SCOTTSDALE MINT, THE WILD, 1 TROY OUNCE, and 999 SILVER.
History
Moose are the biggest members of the deer family on the continent. A mature bull commonly weighs well over 1,500 pounds, and its wide, flattened antlers can stretch about six feet across. These animals live mainly in colder northern zones, including Canada, Alaska, and the upper United States, where boreal forests, marshy ground, and fresh water are easy to find. Wetlands and lakes are especially important to their daily routine.
