Obverse
The obverse of the Silver Colorized NFL Seattle Seahawks Round features the updated team logo. This bold image of a seahawk head is finished in navy, green, and white, the official team colors. First introduced in 2012, this modern version of the logo updates the original 1976 design with sharper details while keeping the franchises traditional style intact. The inscriptions here read SEATTLE SEAHAWKS and ESTABLISHED 1976.
Reverse
The reverse side of 1 oz Silver Colorized Seattle Seahawks Rounds includes the official NFL shield. This logo shows the league initials at the center, a football above, and eight stars in two groups of four, symbolizing the AFC and NFC divisions. History
The Seahawks were added to the NFL in 1976 as an expansion franchise. They started in the NFC West but moved to the AFC West in 1977 before returning to the NFC West in 2002 after realignment. The teams first decades were marked by mixed results, with playoff appearances coming occasionally, but stronger momentum arrived under head coach Mike Holmgren beginning in 1999.
