Obverse
The obverse design of the Silver Colorized MLB Colorado Rockies Round showcases the Rockies cap logo in vivid, colorized detail. Its interlocking CR arrangement, with the C positioned slightly higher and left of the R, is brought to life through color that emphasizes the logos neat, simple geometry. Official team colors of Purple, Black, and Silver give the Rockies one of the games most distinctive looks. Purple, in particular, is the defining hueuncommon in major professional sports and a big reason the Rockies are instantly recognizable. The inscriptions here read COLORADO ROCKIES and ESTABLISHED 1993.
Reverse
