Each 1 oz Silver Colorized MLB Chicago Cubs Round comes individually packaged in a protective flip and is offered in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The MLB Silver Round series includes designs for all 30 teams in BU and colorized styles.
Obverse
On the obverse of Silver Colorized MLB Chicago Cubs Rounds, the teams circular logo appears in bright, full-color detail. The bold C wraps around the ubs lettering, and the colorization helps define the clear structure of the design. Behind the logo is a white field with blue pinstripes, adding a classic baseball visual element. The emblem is completed with a blue outer ring and red lettering consistent with the Cubs traditional colors. The inscriptions include CHICAGO CUBS and ESTABLISHED 1876.
Reverse
The reverse of 1 oz Silver Colorized Chicago Cubs Rounds features the MLB logo in its traditional presentationa horizontal rectangle divided by a batter silhouette, with a small baseball positioned near the bat. Designed by Jerry Dior in 1968, the logo first appeared on uniforms in 1969. The inscriptions read THM/MLB, ONE TROY OUNCE, and .999 FINE SILVER.
History
The Chicago Cubs have won the World Series three times, taking championships in 1907, 1908, and again in 2016. That 2016 title is especially remembered for ending a 108-year wait for another championship. Across their long history, the Cubs have secured 17 National League pennants, though many of those victories were recorded in the franchises early era. Theyve also collected several division titles, most notably during competitive periods in the 1980s, 2000s, and 2010s. Wrigley Field has served as their home since 1914, making it the second-oldest MLB stadium still in use today and a well-known national landmark for baseball fans.
