{{/presale}}American Legacy Collection silver rounds offer four collectible designs based on some of the greatest coin designs ever released into circulation in the United States. The second of those designs is inspired by the Morgan Silver Dollar and features an extra-deep relief courtesy of a domed surface on the obverse. Provident Metals offers you a chance to build your American Legacy Collection with the 1 oz Silver Colorized Domed American Legacy Morgan Dollar Round.
Highlights:
American Legacy Collection silver rounds are available in three different versions for each design. Collectors can choose between proof, antique, and colorized versions of each design, or collect all three. Youll have to act fast when the rounds are released because the mintage for proof and antique rounds is capped at 10,000 and just 5,000 for the colorized version.
Obverse
For the obverse face of 1 oz Silver Colorized Domed American Legacy Morgan Dollar Rounds, the Osborne Mint uses George T. Morgans original Liberty left-profile design. It is accompanied by inscriptions of E Pluribus Unum, 1893, and 13 stars around the edge of the design field. Liberty wears her wreath crown and coronet with Liberty inscribed on it.
The domed surface on this side of the rounds creates an impressive 3D element for the mint to strike the designs on. This creates 10 times the visual depth and intricacy in the details of Morgans portrait of Liberty. Most notably, this side of the round has a gold colorized finish that creates a contrast between Liberty and her background field.
Reverse
1 oz Silver Colorized Domed American Legacy Morgan Dollar Rounds feature the same Liberty portrait on the reverse. On this side of the rounds, Liberty is set in right-profile relief instead and is not struck onto a domed surface. There is also no colorization on this side of the round.
History
The Morgan Dollar design is the second in the American Legacy Collection. It follows the Buffalo Nickel release and precedes the Lincoln Penny and Kennedy Half Dollar. Morgan Silver Dollars were struck by the US Mint from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921.
Ordering
Your 1 oz Silver Colorized Domed American Legacy Morgan Dollar Round is available with a custom-fitted capsule and features a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The numbered COA matches the number on the edge of the round.
