{{/presale}}Whether youve read the original novels or not, you are more than likely familiar with Alexandre Dumas Three Musketeers. Athos, Porthos, and Aramis were the best of the Maison du Roi in 17th-century France, and Dumas brought these fictionalized characters to life in the mid-19th century over the course of three different novels. In the 21st century, these three figures are the focus of a distinctive silver round collection that reimagines each character as a female lead. Today, you have the chance to buy 1 oz Silver Athos Rounds online from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
In the Athos release, the design element focuses on the melancholy member of the Three Musketeers. The character of Athos, like the other members of the Three Musketeers, is based on a real member of the 17th century Maison du Roi. The Maison du Roi was the royal household of the King of France, and the musketeers were the military portion of the royal household serving as the personal guard of the King of France.
Obverse
Athos is featured in the obverse design of Silver Athos Rounds. Here, were presented with a female lead portraying Athos. In the works of Dumas, Athos is said to be a nobleman who joined the musketeers and is the oldest member of the group. Although handsome and gifted in battle, Athos is also taciturn and bitter, often drowning away sorrows with alcohol. The design field on this side includes inscriptions of ATHOS and THE GNOSTIC.
Reverse
