In the Athos release, the design element focuses on the melancholy member of the Three Musketeers. The character of Athos, like the other members of the Three Musketeers, is based on a real member of the 17^th century Maison du Roi. The Maison du Roi was the royal household of the King of France, and the musketeers were the military portion of the royal household serving as the personal guard of the King of France.
