{{/presale}}The World of Dragons Series was a collection of silver and copper rounds featuring depictions of dragons from cultures around the world. While the collection has been completed, there are still ways to own the designs offered in this collection. At this point in time, Provident Metals is happy to offer 1 oz Copper World of Dragons Rounds with varied designs.
Round Highlights:
With your purchase of the 1 oz Copper World of Dragons Round in this Provident Metals listing, you will receive a round that is housed in a protective plastic flip. In this listing, we do not guarantee a specific design from the six-round release. After your payment has cleared, we will fulfill your order based on the availability of copper rounds in our warehouse at that point in time.
Obverse
On the obverse of Copper World of Dragons Rounds, you will find one of six possible designs based on the copper round you receive. The rounds offer images of dragons such as the Red Dragon of Wales, an Indian dragon guarding the Taj Mahal, an Egyptian dragon guarding a pyramid, or the fire-breathing Norse dragon. Inscriptions on the rounds will feature the name of the particular dragon.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 1 oz Copper World of Dragons Rounds comes with a common design element. This figure is featured on all six design releases and focuses on the piercing gaze of a dragon eye. The inscriptions on this side will read WORLD OF DRAGONS and ONE OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER.
History
The World of Dragons Series came with varying mintages across the series over the course of time. When it was initially introduced, the World of Dragons Series offered limited timelines for the production of each design. Later on, the timeline approach was abandoned in favor of striking a set mintage and ending work at that point. Specifically, the mintage cap was 20,000 copper rounds per design.
