Copper rounds have increased in popularity over the last few years. Some of the more popular copper products are those that resemble and honor official currencies from the United States Mint. Right now, Provident Metals is proud to offer the 1 oz Copper $1 Banknote Round from Art Bar Mint for you to add to your investment collection.

Highlights:

  • Individual rounds ship in plastic flips, multiples of 10-20 ship in mint tubes, and multiples of 500 ship in boxes.
  • Features the image of the $1 Eagle Certificate from the United States Mint.
  • Comes in brand-new condition.
  • Each round contains 1 AVDP oz of .999 pure copper.
  • Privately minted in the United States of America.

These rounds were all created by a private mint in the United States that goes by Art Bar Mint. The copper used to create these rounds was sourced from within the U.S. These rounds were created to honor the common currency bills that we are all used to seeing in circulation. They are part of a wider series that showcases each of the different bills used in the United States.

Obverse

On the obverse of each round, you will find the image of the former U.S. $1 banknote that was issued from 1899 to 1929. It was called the Black Eagle $1 Silver Certificate. In 1929, the United States Mint moved away from using large-sized silver certificates. The image on the round is that of an American bald eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle holds olive branches in its talons.

Reverse

The Art Bar Mint logo can be seen on the reverse of each copper round. Also on this side of the round, you will see the rounds weight, purity, and metal content. Other engravings include Silver Certificate and United States of America.

History

The United States Mints lowest paper bill denomination has been $1 since 1876. These bills are iconic, but they have a long history. First President George Washington hasnt always been featured on the one-dollar circulation currency in this great country.
