Obverse

On the obverse of Antique Silver Ingwaz Rune Cast Bars, the Ingwaz rune is depicted in its traditional form, resembling a diamond or rhombus. This shape is often associated with containment, stability, and the ability to expand when the time is right. In Norse mythology and Germanic traditions, this rune is strongly tied to masculine energy, renewal, and lifes generative forces.

Reverse

The reverse of the 1 oz Antique Silver Ingwaz Rune Cast Bar features its identifying hallmarks. The Germania Mint seal appears at the center, with details such as purity, metal content, and weight displayed above, while the unique serial number is positioned below. The inscriptions include 999.9, FINE SILVER, 1 OZ, and the serial number.

History

The Ingwaz rune, sometimes called Ing or Inguz, is an important symbol in the Elder Futhark runic alphabet. This rune is linked to the Norse god Ing, a figure often considered an early version of the deity Freyr. Ingwaz represents concepts of fertility, stored energy, and potential, symbolizing the idea of growth waiting for the right moment to emerge.
