{{/presale}}While silver and gold bullion bars are available in a wide range of weights, there are those weights that stand out as the preferred options among investors. When it comes to silver, investors prefer 1 oz, 10 oz, and 1 Kilo bars. Gold investors have far more options to choose from, but still tend toward larger weights like 1 oz, 1 Kilo, and even 100 oz gold. Today, you have the chance to purchase 1 Kilo Gold Bars online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Argor-Heraeus is one of the worlds most respected minting facilities. The mint was founded in 1951 in Ticino, Switzerland, as Argor S.A. Today, the mint produces gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bullion bars as both minted ingots and cast gold bars. In both cases, Argor-Heraeus assigns serial numbers to many of its bars as a means of authentication and security.
Obverse
The obverse face of the 1 Kilo Gold Bar includes all of the markings for the product. The Argor-Heraeus mint logo is featured at the top. The two concentric circles have inscriptions of Argor-Heraeus SA in the outer circle and the AH initials of the mint in the inner circle. Below that is an inscription of Switzerland. The next set of inscriptions identifies the weight, metal content, and purity as 1 Kilo, Fine Gold, 999,9. At the bottom of the bar is the stamp of a certified assayer and the inscription of the individual serial number. Serial numbers in this listing come with two-letter, five-number digits.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 1 Kilo Gold Bar there are no inscriptions. Youll find a rough surface with a random visual appearance resulting from the cooling process of the bar after it was cast. The inscriptions on the obverse of the bar are struck incuse, meaning the design text and elements are struck into the surface of the bar rather than being engraved on the surface of the bar with 3D elements.
History
Argor-Heraeus existed as Argor S.A. for a few decades before being absorbed by the German Heraeus group. This gave the mint its current name and its modern refinery is located in Mendrisio, Switzerland.
Ordering
Your 1 Kilo Gold Bars in this listing come with a unique assay card that authenticates the weight, metal content, and purity of the bar, as well as its serial number. Each bar is shipped to you with a plastic bag.
