{{/presale}}Gold rounds offer an exciting, unique alternative to other forms of gold bullion. Gold rounds come with a lower premium to begin with when compared to gold coins and offer the same flexibility as major gold coins programs by providing weights of 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and1/10 oz gold. On top of that, gold rounds offer designs you wont often find on coin programs from sovereign mints. Today, you have the chance to buy 1/4 oz Gold Scotiabank Rounds online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Scotiabank is one of the Big Five Banks in Canada and is the third-largest in Canada when judged by deposits and market capitalization. The bank has a long history that dates back to the founding of what was then known as The Bank of Nova Scotia in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on March 30, 1832. The bank has expanded and contracted over time, opening its first branch in the United States in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1885.
Obverse
On the obverse field of 1/4 oz Gold Scotiabank Rounds is a depiction of the Scotiabank logo at the center of the round. This design element includes the stylized letter S at the center with a globe at the center of the letter. There are inscriptions around the design edge that include Scotiabank three times, the logo three times, and the purity as 24K three times.
Reverse
The reverse face of the Gold Scotiabank Round comes with the same central design element. The Scotiabank logo is found at the center, with different inscriptions around the edge of the field when compared to the obverse. On this side, you will notice inscriptions around the design field of 1/4 oz 24 Karat, Fine Gold 999,9. and Valcambi Suisse. You will also find an assayers stamp on this face of the round.
History
Founded in 1961 as Valori & Cambi, Valcambi Suisse has grown to become one of the worlds leading bullion brands. The Swiss refiner has partnered with Scotiabank and its precious metals arm, ScotiaMocatta, for the production of these gold rounds.
