{{/presale}}Platinum coins are popular with investors and offered to collectors as well through a number of different collections. Among the platinum bullion coin programs in active production at the moment, few offer more than a 1 oz platinum coin. Even fewer of those programs offer a 1/25 oz platinum coin. Provident Metals is happy to offer random year, varied condition 1/25 oz Platinum Coins to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase a 1/25 oz Platinum Coin online at Provident Metals, the specimen you receive comes in an individual protective plastic flip. The coins are available in this particular listing with random date marks and varied conditions. We select coins in this listing at random after your payment has cleared.
Since we do not select coins until your payment clears, we cannot guarantee a particular date mark, condition, or design for the specimen/specimens you receive in advance. Please remember that buying multiples can result in receiving coins that have the same dates, designs, and conditions.
Obverse
The obverse design elements of the 1/25 oz Platinum Coins you receive can vary based on the mint of origin. An example of 1/25 oz Platinum Coins actively in production right now include the Austrian Philharmonic. These coins have a depiction of the Musikvereins Great Organ on the obverse side with inscriptions of the weight, metal content, purity, and denomination in German.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 1/25 oz Platinum Coins, you will also find various design elements, but those will always match the obverse designs theme. In the case of the Austrian Philharmonic Platinum Coins, the reverse offers images of a collection of musical instruments as commonly used by the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra. Please keep in mind that these obverse and reverse designs are merely examples of imagery you could find and not a guarantee that this is the coin you will receive.
History
Platinum bullion coins have been in production since the 1980s. Several programs are still in production to this day, but most offer only a 1 oz platinum coin. The example mentioned above of the Austrian Philharmonic Coin only debuted in 2016 in 1 oz platinum and 2018 in 1/25 oz platinum.
