When you purchase these 1/2 oz Silver Walking Liberty Rounds online at Provident Metals, you will receive your rounds individually in protective flips or by multiples of 20 rounds in tubes. Larger quantities of multiples will arrive in cardboard boxes containing several tubes, with a total of 500 rounds inside the box.
Obverse
In the obverse design of the Silver Walking Liberty Round from SilverTowne, you will find a beautiful replication of Weinman’s Liberty portrait. This left-facing relief shows Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon while the American flag is draped around her figure.
Reverse
For the reverse design of 1/2 oz Silver Walking Liberty Rounds, the mint features an American bald eagle. The powerful national symbol is shown in left-profile relief with raised wings as it sits perched on an olive branch. Inscriptions include 1/2 OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER.
History
Adolph A. Weinman’s image of Walking Liberty is one of the two most popular Liberty designs ever used on American coinage. Not only was it used on the half dollar until 1947, but it was also revived in 1986 on the American Eagle Silver Series and remains on the obverse of the coins to this day.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
